It’s one of the original reasons we built Hacker League. We’ve even heard that you guys have started referencing your Hacker League profiles in job applications, and to that end, we want to introduce you to the first step we’re taking towards a more complete personal Hacker League presence: resumes.

If you include your resume on your Hacker League profile, and indicate that you would like it distributed, we will also send it to a few handpicked companies whose needs match the skills you’ve listed in your profile and displayed in the hacks you’ve made. This is not something we’re going to be taking lightly - we’re hackers just like yourselves, and the last thing we’d want is a bunch of terrible companies emailing us about “unique opportunities”. We will only send your resumes to companies where we ourselves imagine we’d enjoy working.

To upload your resume, just sign in, click “Edit Profile”, and add it. If you later decide you’d like to be taken out of this program, it’s not a problem at all - just uncheck the “Distribute my Resume” option.

Happy hacking!

Why hack?

Ah, a beautiful Saturday morning in April. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and we’re inside absorbing the glow of our computer screens because we love creating beautiful software.

A no brainer, really.
